A real heart of gold lastly stopped quietly in the night on Sept 21,2022 Janice M. Maurer-Hetzner of Kiel passed at house with enjoyed ones at her side. She was born Feb 10 th, 1950, in Aurora, Illinois, child of Delores and Bernard Boehm. She was a graduate of Marinette Catholic Central High School class of 1968 and continued her education at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College
She fulfilled Richard W. Maurer of Kiel and later on wed on Sept. 15 th, 1973, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Marinette, WI. Her spouse preceded her in death on Oct. 29 th,2007
Jan operated at Calumet Medical Center as a Medical Transcriptionist for many years prior to completing her profession at the Children’s Center in Chilton. They state if you enjoy what you do, you never ever work a day in your life and she enjoyed the personnel and kids at the. She would “embrace” all the kids as her own and ruin them constantly.
Some of Jan’s preferred things consisted of shopping (method excessive), drifting in her swimming pool, the Packers, the sun on her face and sand in her toes, hanging out with friends and family, and many of all, acting goofy with her granddaughters Olivia (18) and Annika (12).
Jan was incredibly lucky to discover love once again with Michael H. Hetzner and wed just 10 brief months earlier on the beach in Fort Myers, Florida. They enjoyed delighting in time together talking by the fireplace and back outdoor patio.
She is endured by her current other half, Michael Hetzner 72, of Kiel and her 2 adult kids Todd (Jocelyn) of Windsor, WI and Mandy of Kiel; her moms and dads, Delores and Bernard, of Marinette, sis Judy Eckert of Asheville NC, Joyce and Craig Butler of Menominee, MI, Nan and John Kehoe of Marinette, Joseph Boehm of Wallace MI, and Jane and Steve Bowers of Westerville, OH; sibling in law, Jeanne and Michael Kienbaum of Kiel; Grandchildren Olivia Miller and Annika Maurer of Windsor, Wi and numerous loved ones and unique good friends who supported and enjoyed her constantly.
Preceded in death by her 1st spouse, Richard Maurer; Father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Vivian Maurer; Brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Patricia Maurer
Funeral services will be held at 3: 00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at St. Peter’s UCC (424 Fremont St., Kiel). Officiating at the service will be Rev. James McKenzie with a personal household burial at a later date. The household will welcome family members and good friends and good friends at the church from 12: 00 PM (NOON) up until 2: 30 PM when short household rites will be held.
Jan was one in a million, validated by anybody who understood her. She was frequently informed by her medical professionals she was a strolling wonder because she was making it through pancreatic cancer for 11 years.
