WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Joe Biden told 10 leading union leaders on Wednesday that his $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief strategy and a different procedure to improve U.S. infrastructure would improve the U.S. economy and develop millions of good-paying jobs.
” We rank something like 38 th in the world in terms of our facilities – everything from canals to highways to airports,” Biden stated, highlighting the requirement to increase U.S. competitiveness.
To underpin the revitalization of U.S. facilities, Biden said he was backing Democratic legislation that would expand authorized apprenticeships and create some 1 million brand-new chances for young individuals in building trades and in other places.
