featured image

Dr. Shreyas Lingadahalli signed up with the Chilliwack Prostate Cancer Support Group’s December 2021 support system conference to speak about his research study in discovering brand-new treatments for prostate cancer.

After medical education (MBBS) in India for my undergraduate research studies, Dr. Lingadahalli’s interest in standard and used bio-medical research study inspired him to sign up with the MS (Biology) program at Cleveland Clinic/Cleveland State University. After acquiring his Master’s, he quickly worked as a senior research study fellow in India prior to transferring to Macau for his PhD under the guidance of Prof. Edwin Cheung. For his doctoral thesis, Dr. Lingadahalli dealt with identifying unique co-regulatory aspects of AR-transcriptional complex in Prostate cancer. After finishing his PhD in 2018, he transferred to Vancouver Prostate Centre to sign up with Dr. Nathan Lack’s laboratory for his postdoctoral training. While his work there is still intended towards comprehending the AR-mediated transcriptional guideline, he is presently concentrating on specifying an AR-enhancer and how anomalies in these areas can impact prostate cancer.
