Webinar: Translating Pharmacomicrobiomics: From Microbiome Cloud Uncertainty to Pharmaceutical and Clinical Application( s)
Webinar Abstract: The Human Microbiome Project was developed nearly 15 years earlier, as an extension of the Human Genome Project, to check out the variety of human-associated bacteria at numerous body websites (skin, mouth, nose, colon, and vaginal area) and their influence on human health. Pioneering research studies highlighted the degree of intra- and inter-individual microbiome variations, and how these variations played crucial functions in nutrition, health, illness, and resistance. Various designs were proposed to explain the human microbiome, comparing it, for instance, to a missing out on organ or a 2nd genome. The origin and meaning of the term microbiome is gone over, and various views of highlighting or modeling the microbiome are discussed, consisting of a proposed cloud design. Consequently, the significant obstacles/bottlenecks associated with microbiome analysis are noted, and examples of analysis techniques that resolve them exist.
