In this video, am going to give you insight into how to set up a medical transcription company

The main components for setting up a medical transcription firm include: office space, computers, server, local area network and specialized software

You would need 700 to 800 square feet air-conditioned commercial space with ergonomic infrastructure if you want to setup a 10-seater medical transcription company.

You will need computers with audio capabilities

Computer Configuration:
Computers with I3 Processor.
2 GB RAM.
USB foot pedal.
Windows 7 operating system.
MS Word 2000 or above.
Internet explorer version 9 or above

Monitors: Prefer 15-inch LCD monitors as they consume less power than the conventional monitors.

Keyboard: Prefer TVS Keyboard or Microsoft PS2 Keyboard.

Sound Amplifiers and Headphones are required.

Minimum one server with audio support. Configuration: i3 or i5 Processor with motherboard, 8GB Ram, Hard disk minimum 500 GB.

Group policies on all workstations to be administered through the server.

SPECIALIZED SOFTWARE FOR MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION

Internet Connection: Need 2 internet connections, primary and secondary.

3 mbps Internet connection can support about 15 computers that need to be online throughout the work.

UPS & Power Generator: 3 KV UPS and a diesel power generator.
